Learning Objectives
1. Participants will explore possible risk
factors when illicit drugs, tobacco, and
alcohol are used during pregnancy
2. Participants will be able to describe
FASD and connections between brain
impairment and behaviors
3. Participants will explore diagnoses
under FASD umbrella
4. Participants will be able to identify
“red flags” for FASD diagnosis
5. Participants will consider co-morbid
conditions, including impact of trauma
6. Participants will discuss reframing
and other strategies to use with these
children
