Childhood sexualized behaviors can be caused by a myriad of circumstances. The topic is often uncomfortable to
talk about and even more alarming if you witness a behavior you do not understand or know how to address.
Participants should come prepared for this session with a specific case example they have encountered to
“Ask the Expert” about. History - why the child was placed and any family mental health, substances use
history, or trauma, any diagnosis, behaviors observed, when the behavior is commonly observed, what has
already been tried etc.
