The North Platte Pow Wow will showcase the culture and tradition of Native Americans. Vendors will be onsite. Educational opportunities abound.
Join Us for the 2022 North Platte Pow Wow!!! Held at the Buffalo Bill Ranch State Historical Park! Featuring: Native American Dancers, Singers and a wide variety of Food and Merchandise Vendors from across the country! Everyone is welcome! Admission is $15 Weekend Pass or $7 Day Pass. Primitive camping is available! Vendor Space is available! Dance/Drum Contest! Inter-Tribal Pow Wow! "Honoring Our Veterans" This is a 3 day event! Friday, Saturday and Sunday! We will be hosting a 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament July 8th at the D&N Event Center, registration begins at 10am! We will have a PTSD Awareness Walk on July 10th at 10am as well!

Resource Family Consultants

Our staff includes Resource Family Consultants who specialize in one-on-one relationships, which provide foster parents with emotional encouragement, skill reinforcement, and parenting strategies unique to providing out-of-home care.

Scholarships

The Nebraska Foster & Adoptive Parent Association (NFAPA) offers scholarships to adoptive, foster, guardianship or kinship youth who wish to further their education beyond high school or GED.

Become a Foster Parent

There is an ongoing need in Nebraska for families willing to share their hearts and their homes with children who require temporary foster care. There is also a need for “forever” families for our waiting children, especially teens, who are available for adoption.
