Parenting Across Color Lines, a family-oriented group based in Lincoln, Nebraska, bringing racial healing to our community! PACL offers peer support for caregivers who have adopted transracially, have multiracial children of their own, or adults and young adults who grew up in a multicultural family.

Regardless of your multiracial experience, whether from an adopted home or biological one, we value and welcome all experiences! We start with a potluck at 6:15 pm. PACL will provide the main dish. You are welcome to bring a side dish but it is not required.

We start the new year (2024) on a new day! Our meetings are now on the fourth Tuesday of the month! RSVP is required! This will keep you informed of any changes as we plan family activities that might take place at a different location or day.

Resource Family Consultants

Our staff includes Resource Family Consultants who specialize in one-on-one relationships, which provide foster parents with emotional encouragement, skill reinforcement, and parenting strategies unique to providing out-of-home care.

Scholarships

The Nebraska Foster & Adoptive Parent Association (NFAPA) offers scholarships to adoptive, foster, guardianship or kinship youth who wish to further their education beyond high school or GED.

Become a Foster Parent

There is an ongoing need in Nebraska for families willing to share their hearts and their homes with children who require temporary foster care. There is also a need for “forever” families for our waiting children, especially teens, who are available for adoption.
